Since teaming up with Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm in 1990, Chuck has provided prompt, efficient legal service to clients in various practice areas including real property law, oil and gas law, commercial law and creditors’ rights, as well as estate planning and probate. Chuck Peterson has been providing advice and counsel to mortgage lenders and mortgage servicers on foreclosure and bankruptcy matters in Montana and North Dakota since 1987.
He is active in a number of professional organizations, including being a charter member of the U.S. Foreclosure Network. He has served on the Disciplinary Board of the North Dakota Supreme Court and currently serves on the North Dakota Supreme Court Services Administration Committee. Jason J. Henderson joined the Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm in 2009. Thomas A. Gehrz joined the Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm in 2010. While attending law school, Tom did volunteer work for the Minnesota Public Defender's Office, conducted editing and research projects for his constitutional law professor, worked in the Immigration Law Clinic, and worked with Habitat for Humanity. Mark C. Sherer joined Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm in 2011. Mark's practice experience is broad, having represented individuals and businesses in a wide array of legal matters, but since 1998, the emphasis of his practice has been in the area of litigation. He has defended individuals and businesses in a variety of simple and complex lawsuits, including medical malpractice and other professional errors and omissions claims as well as personal injury and commercial litigation. Over the past 10 years, Mark has served as first chair counsel in over 25 jury trials. Mark and his wife Amy have 3 children. In his spare time, Mark enjoys coaching his children's basketball teams, running and visiting National Parks with his family.

After spending two summers clerking for Mackoff Kellogg, Cassie joined the firm as an attorney in 2011. Cassie received her Bachelor's of Arts from Jamestown College in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Montana School of Law in 2011. Cassie has a particular interest in working with farmers and ranchers. To help prepare her for that endeavor, Cassie participated in and was Co-President of the University of Montana Schools of Law's Rural Advocacy League during law school and interned at the Office of the General Counsel for the USDA during her final year of law school. She hopes to continue working in the world of Agricultural law as her practice develops

After working with Mackoff Kellogg for a year and serving as a law clerk for two summers, Christina M. Wiskus joined the firm as an associate attorney in August 2012. Christina attended Dickinson State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History. Christina attended the University of North Dakota School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor. During law school, Christina was active in oral advocacy and trial advocacy programs. In her third year of law school, she served as a Member at Large on the Moot Court Association Board, was a finalist at the Regional Trial Team Competition in Spokane, Washington, served as a teacher's assistant for trial advocacy, interned with the Grand Forks State's Attorney, and upon graduation was elected to the Order of the Barristers.
